“That which we manifest is before us; we are the creators of our own destiny. Be it through intention or ignorance, our successes and our failures have been brought on by none other than ourselves.”
To me, this quote is very inspiring and motivational. When I read the quote, I was thinking of many ways I could grow up to be someone important in life. Whether I am going to be someone important in life through a job, volunteer work, or just being a good person in general will have to come in the future when I am living on my own. I cannot depend on someone for me to be a good person, I can only do it by myself. Yes, I may need help and support, but I can’t go to people for things I need, like money, or a job. I have to get it through hard work. That’s how most people become successful, and that’s how I will become successful in life.
This quote also makes me think of all the bad times in life. Now matter how much you fail, you will always learn from it, in which you will succeed at one point in time no matter how long it takes to do so. So think on the bright side, if you fail, you will succeed through learning. I have learned a lot! Whether I got a bad score on a test and had to retake it, or when I accidentally hurt a friend or family member with my words.
While I was writing this post, I thought a lot on how my actions have lead to good decisions, and those good decisions leading to great successes. Don’t ever give up on something or someone you love. It hurts yourself in a way you can’t recover from completely. It will always be in your heart forever until the day you die, and if you die without returning to the something you enjoy, you might not be fully happy. Just remember to never give, when you fail you succeed, and keep a clear mind for the future, you never know what is going to happen.
